Yay! turns to GRR! (ignore my rant)
So...my parts arrived today. I got the Two Brothers slip-on and the FMF Powerbomb and the Uni air filter and K&N Oil filter (jet kit arrived last week)
I look at the slip-on and it's in great condition with no damage. It's well machined, with no burrs or anything like that. I look through the parts it shipped with and there's some stuff missing, mainly the allen wrench. Grr#1
I call up Two Brothers and speak nicely to someone there and point out that there was some stuff missing. They are taking care of it pronto. (Good Company! Cares about their customers. I have no doubt that it'll be resolved quickly, and will definitely do business with them again.
)
I open up the FMF power bomb header box and take a look inside. It looks like this thing's been machined and built by a 12 year old using hand tools and a soldering iron. Grr#2
I'm seriously like, "WTF?!" when I looked at it the first time. I couldn't believe it was this hosed up. It's already cut me twice from sharp, metal burrs present at various locations along the pipe's length. The mounting surface of the exhaust flange is so burrd that there's no hope of getting a seal without grinding off the burrs. The stainless steel is anything BUT stainless. I've sent an EEC to the company, requesting they take a look at their QA process to identify how a pipe in this condition could make it through, and am hoping to hear back from them soon.
Anyway, ignore the rant. I just had to say "something" to get it off my chest.

That sucks, let us know how they respond. If their smart they'll make it right. I bought their Q4 muffler, and was happy with its fit and finish. The pics I have seen of the Powerbomb look like it has more of a "raw" finish, but there is no excuse for something that cost that much coming to you with sharp burrs on it.
I do remember sliding my new muffler out of the box, and thinking how can they charge $300 for that.

That's one of the reasons I'm so surprised by this POS. I'm going to probably get it lightly media blasted, or I may take some sandpaper to it to give it a brushed look.
Damn, I didn't think to check with my dealer first. I paid $550 from Muzzy for the 09 pipes.
