nice review Tony. Glad you like your new bike. I'd really like to ride one, I like the "front end in your face feeling". That's a feeling you never get with the KLX w/o some help from your wallet. It is a nice bike, just wish they'd brought over the white/black scheme Europe gets. I like the black frame.

Me local dealer has a WRR on the floor. Wish he'd service it so i could take it for a test ride. I'm pretty satisfied with my klx250s though. With the Muzzy exhaust, intake mods and rejetted carb it has a top speed over 85 mph and gets about 55 mpg on the highway. Besides, it would cost a couple thousand more $$$ to upgrade.

My local power sports had a free dyno shoot out. When I left I was the only "dirt bike" on the board. But....

24.93HP with 400+ miles on the odo. @ 45deg outside.

NICE!!!! Tony did Garland get a hold of you? I think even though your bike has a lot of miles (twice as many as mine) I told him that he would not find a better deal. He lives in Port Angeles. I hope you guys can work out a deal, it would be nice to keep the bike local and with someone I know.

Yes, I talked with Garland. The bike sold to a Paulsbo man Saturday morning. Sorry Garland.
Thanks again for the help Deej.

ps. Garland calls you Derick. [sm=hiya.gif]

yea, awesome bike. my buddy just got one when i got my 09KLX... the WR-R was the first bike i ever rode... the sensitive throttle at low speeds almost bucked me off LOL! i like the idea ofFI way better then dealing with a carb ... but the damn thing is just too tall for me, the klx felt a little shorter and was easier for me to handle.

Nice write-up!
