I watched sdunne ride his KLX250S in a local MX race here in NC. He was hangin' with the big bikes and there was some excellent talent there - lots of riders from all over the country. I saw license plates from all over with their bike trailers and tents all set up. I don't think sdunne rode his KLX to the race, but he could have.
Here's some video of him burnin' up the track that I took with my cheap digital camera:
...
Sdunne used to frequent here a while back, but I think he ended up getting a YZ250F if I recall. He said the KLX250S as a MX'er was a fun experiment, and while it was possible to use it for that, he was a little worried about it holding up under the rigors of racing long-term. At any rate, Seth pushed the limits of the KLX250S's capabilities.
He was kind've funny when he bailed on us - he said his wife wanted another baby so he made a deal with her, she could have another baby if he could buy the YZ. Sounds like win-win to me.
I hope he's doing well - he was down around the Fort Bragg area, near Gravy Train. Maybe Gravy can give us an sdunne update.
Edit: sorry, pics no longer hosted

You know Brian, I have not been in contact with him since he bought that new bike of his. He just kinda disappeared in to the sunset. I might have to give him a call and let him know that we are all thinking of him and see if he can give us an update on the baby and the new BABY his riding now. Well let ya know.....
