Default Winter working out for the new season

Well Im not riding at all lately, but really love to hit the gym in the winter...

Anyone have any experience with dirtbike specific weightlifting/exercise for off seasontraining?

heres an ok link. they only thing i dont aggree with its the weight lifting for strenth instead of endurance. if you eat ****, and you look like my govenator, you going to pull or tear something. i also do long distance rides, not motorcross, so that may be a factor too. i dont know if its on that site, but i have seen pros talk about heart zones a lot. they say get on a bike/tredmill/something cardo and get you rate up to something comfortable, then go a bit fast for ~20 more beats per min. for about 2 mins, then sprint and max out min, then drop back down to 20 higher, then your comfortable rate. i guess its to simulate high panic or hard faught battles on the track. i know im comfortable at 150, then sprint a bit to get it to ~165, then max out at ~185.

if you find a better site, let me know, im trying to train for a few races the end of this year and want to be able to kick some ktm @$$.
