wider foot pegs?

RE: wider foot pegs?
I like the feel of the wider footpeg, I got the super stock from ims. The teeth on the super stock are not as tall as the stock foot pegs, if you need the extra grip go with the pro series from ims. It may have been the boots i was wearing but sometimes it felt like the heel would catch on the back of the foot peg sometimes, although not very noticable, Maybe it's because I wear a size 8 shoe. A larger boot may not make a difference. I want some riding boots anyway. These boots http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/...t--610074.htmlsay they have an option for wider foot pegs, these are next on my list.

RE: wider foot pegs?
ORIGINAL: Nobrakes
I got the IMS stainless pegs after a recommendation from Bad Bear on this forum. While I was skeptical at first, I was surprised at how much more stable standing on them felt. They are great! The only caveat is that you need to grind the peg mount a little bit so they sit flat, but that's not a big deal.

RE: wider foot pegs?
If you go to Kawasaki.com and .... oh never mind, the pegs for the KLX250 / 300 / 650 are the same, the pegs for the KLX400 (being a Suzuki) are different. I'm getting a set of PivotPegz for mine

drc makes some for cheap. one thing to consider is where you want the peg. yes, wider pegs are nice from long rides, but i found the stock pegs better for me if im really draging pegs and having fun.

Hi all,
This is an old thread but why not post an update. I just purchased a pair of DRC Hardware (http://www.drcpoducts.com) footpegs for my 2009 KLX250S from Wheeling Cycle Supply (Wheeling Cycle Supply - Motocross, Off-Road, Dual-Sports and Super-Motard Parts and Accessories), part no. D48-02-522. They fit perectly and look great too!
Cheers,
Brendan

They don't make it easy, the part number doesn't show until the item is in your cart. What is the letter after -522 of the ones you got? Do your feet sit higher, the same, or lower than with the stock pegs? thanks
