Well, when the snow closes in for the last time there, head down here. In about 10 days I'll be out in the desert region of the Big Bend. Lots of scenery, lots of great jeep roads, and almost always decent weather are on tap. Just the kind of place the KLX was made for...if you have some extra gas.

Next weekend is the Pine Barons 300. feel free to join in if you can for a day or even the weekend.
Me and another KLX250 owner are doing the weekend.
Actually, we are going to be riding TOMORROW in Wharton State forest.
It might be a bit far for you for a day trip.
PM me if you want to join us.

The U.P. has over a foot of snow already in my area... consider yourselves lucky... only toys I get to play with from here on out is the snow blower lol.

Speaking of which I need to go hit the end of the driveway again... the pic is kinda not a good representation of the snowfall though because me and my neighbor keep all our area in front of our house blowed.

Go to this website and read the post for entry info.
2011 Pine Barrens 300 Ver 2.0 - Page 17 - ADVrider
the Howard Johnson is booked up but there are other hotels in the area that others are staying at. Typically, the beerfest is at the HoJo Friday and Saturday night. I have a room there and will be riding both days.
Let me know if you want to join us.
