I run a 14/48 and love it my bro had the bike doing 90mph probbaly at a high rpm. works great 50/50 still wish i had a little more low end
Man! 90 MPH? The wind must feel like it's gonna blow you off the bike. I can't wait for part 2 of my "easy" break in to be over so I can redline this dream machine. I am so amazed at what these babies are capable of. Any idea of top speed on a pure stock haulin 150 Lb rider?

Cheers

How many links in the chain is needed for a 14/49 setup? ...does that include the master link or not?

Thanks.

I too am considering new front sprocket (and rear) if it helps...would like a little more low end umph...at what point does it become necessary to replace the stock chain? And could someone give me some details on the sprocket/chain combos they are running? thx..

as soon as you put a larger rear on you need a new chain, I have 13 / 45 / 108 links

I just don't see why you can't add links to increase length. Would the master links somehow weaken the chain?
