Wow that's a lot of miles. I only have 4000 miles on my KLX, but then again I have 3 bikes so it's not too bad.
I actually still have the original Dunlop 603s on there. That's gotta be up there for these stockers. The tread is getting low so it handles great on the pavement but it's a little hairy on the mud and loose rocky surfaces.

Any problems or repairs or has it been trouble-free?

just minor stuff, had the valves checked twice, both times not needing adjustment, last time was about 700 miles ago.headlight bulb burned out, fuse burned out. numerous rear tires-- kenda 270 lasts the longest of the ones ive tried. other than that bike is rocksolid, rode it almost all day today just because its fun to ride. i always look forward to going to work and even more so getting off work lol. i really dont think there is a better value out there for the price. the klx250 is just so much fun, i dont think ill ever get rid of it. i think ill put another 10000 miles on it this year. i think the reason i have so many miles on mine is because i ride it nearly everyday as weather is a non issue here 365 days a year. freezing? never 100 degrees, never. hence the high mileage.

I have not had my valvs ajusted yet. I have went threw 2 rear tires the stock on and I got the 606, but I still have a few miles left on that tire. I have a track master sitting in my shed for the next. The only other probabroom I hatd was I had a laek in the water pump because I hit the half circle part by the hoeses that hit the water pump caused a leak and bent the cluch leaver befor I had the hand gurds

That's some serious miles Calisakifor a yearor so
I only got 4,900 or so miles.....but it was in S. Fl sand so the front tire may not have been spinning as fast as I was going.
No maintenance so far, just a valve shim adjust and a 300 cc piston.....oh and a kickstarter.

My folks own a Condo just west from where this shot was taken from at the Coronado Point Condominiums @ Ferry Landing, I also flew helicopters in the Navy and was stationed at NAS North Island for many years so needless to say my wife and I spend several weeks a year in San Diego (best city in the word).
