I will NEVER forget, standing in the PAX terminal ATOC Prince Sultan Airbase Kingdom of Saudi Arabia picking up inbound troops. Watched the second plane hit. My wife and daughter home by themselves thousands of miles away. I am still pissed!

Please don't ever forget!!!

I was driving into work when I heard it come across the radio. When I got in, someone had a TV in their office down the hall and that person's office was packed and people were trying to get any scrap of information they could.

Torrance, California I was pouring my first cup of coffee.
Tragic to say the least, I visited NY last winter and it was an amazing trip. Ground zero was very emotional.

I was visiting my (now ex) girlfriend in St Louis. She called me from work and told me to turn on the TV. Her company sent eveyone home for the day and we sat on the couch watching the news.

Im a youngin...

I was in high school. 1st period was PE, there was some talk about "Ragheads bombing New York" at the start of class, but there wasn't much else to say. About 20 minutes into class our Principal came down (we went outside to play wiffle ball) and informed us something important just happened, and we needed to report to the library. The entire school (small one) cramed into our even smaller library to watch the events unfold in the tv.

My parents had gone to buy a TV that day, in a city about 2 hours away. Kinda funny, that they were buying a big screen while seemingly the rest of the world fell apart.

riding the bus to school, there was a radio on the bus, and everyone thought it was a joke, no one believed it, but when we got to school, we heard the bad news, no one could believe it....

Desperately trying to get ahold of my son. He was a few blocks away from ground zero at school. I was 3,000 miles away and didn't know if he was alive or not for 6 hours.

I have handful of FDNY buddies and they took me into what they call the "Pit" in May of '02. W O W ! I was even lucky enough to go to the VIP platform on the roof of the fire house that overlooks the former site.

One of the Captains kept a few pieces of glass for me. It is a horrible reminder of the massive loss of life.
