Unlikely you'll find much model-specific equipment for an 09 since its, well, an '09.

I installed the Tusk D-Flex handguards on my '09 and they fit rather well. I did a write-up a few weeks ago, search back a few pages to check it out and see how you like them.

Chaparrel, Rocky Mountain ATV, Dennis Kirk, etc..

free shipping on minimum orders w/ certain vendors

Cycra makes some nice hand guard options

Most '07 parts will fit without any issue. On-line, RockyMountainATV is a great site to start. Ron Ayers did me right with a bunch of factory Kawasaki parts on a weekend sale that got me rejetted with factory parts.

Hand guards fit the bars not the bike.
Work out what bars you're going to upgrade to, then get the hand guards to suit.
(The OE bars are a little soft!)
7/8" Bars and oversize bars require different fitting kits. They are bar specific.
Any bash plate, skid plate made for an 07 KLX250S/KLX300R will fit the 09 KLX250S.

^^ Also to note, if you buy handguards and they fit your stock handlebars, most companies sell adapters to fit different size bars if you upgrade.

+1 on the tusk-d hand guards from rockey mountain- I was very happy with the fit. I have also changed my bars to cr high from the stock klx bars.

I like the tight trails so I also put on a set of rad guards- I know they saved my rads 10 times!
