Yes, be afraid of the cost. My little injury just a month ago costed my insurance about $1338. But I only dished out $200 up front. X-rays was the cheapest part of the hosiptal visit, $28.

Dude, I truley hate to hear that. Dont worry about posting right now, worry about getting your foot healed. You will have plenty of time to post if you did break it! Dont be embarressed, stupid things happen to all of us.

Ahhh man, that sucks

And yes, posting the video will make you feel better.

Good luck on the hospital bills. My dislocated shoulder cost me $2k, and that was *WITH* insurance.

Good luck

but like hillary, he was bought out. i also though "change" ment just that, but instead of a one payer system like i thought, its just another way to keep insurance around. AnYwAyS, i broke the meta-something, basicly the bone behind the knuckle on the toe next to the big one. funnest part is i compressed my feet when i was like 13 jumping off a roof, and it looks like i have 2 ankle bones, and everyone, even the nurses asked if that was it. more than the pain, im bummed i cant ride. i was about to do an ocotillo ride in a week and maybe glamis in a month, so that done. as far as the cost lookout, the did xrays, gave me a splint, crutches, and a rx for vicoden. doesnt seam like it will be a ton, but you never know. the good thing is the county and state insurance can work retroactively, so i might get lucky. ill post the video in a bit. but thanks for all the support, if i even get the chance to meet any of you guys, the first round is on me.

sorry to hear what happened. If it is a metatarsal bone, it won't take long to heal. I will bet you will be riding in ten days. No health care insurance sucks.

Get an accident policy with AFLAC. It's around $32 a month and pays you cash money for x-rays, broken bones, cuts, broken tooth, you name it. It also pays out $150,00 to your beneficiary in the event of your death.
Get well soon.

Mike
