Default What would you do? (license related)

I have my learner's permit. Need to take my riding test. But, I have to either have a buddy with a M license with me, or bring the bike on a trailer. I have neither. What do you recommend I do? Truth is, I've been learning on my own with no one following me. I feel more than capable of meeting or exceeding any testing standards.

I had the same problem and took my test on a scooter rented from a local motorcycle shop. While I waited my turn, almost everyone was using that same rental scooter for their tests.

Maybe give a call to some local shops to see if they have a rental on location the day of your test. I think it cost maybe $40, but this was 20+ years ago.

In Iowa, 20 years ago, the MSF course (which I think is really worthwhile) upon passing automatically got you a M/C license.

I rented a KE100 for my test...20+ years ago. Cost me $40 delivered to the DMV.
Or rent a moving van with a ramp for a day or 1/2 day.

Just ride it there. You could Plant it earlier than the test around the corner. If hassled just say your buddy left it for you but had to leave. Ride in like you own the place. What are they going to do about it ? You'll be fine.

In order to get your license you need a permit first, right? If you have your permit it's legal to ride by your self with some limitations. Maybe your state is different than this state.
