Default What kind of Jackets are you wearing

I've been trying to purchase a jacket now for about a week. Here's a picture of the one I have ordered three times and each time I get a reply that they're out of stock (three different companies). It's a 2008 Shift. I really like the fact that it has some green in it but not too much. I think it would make me more visible without being a Kawasaki poster child.

Apparently I'm not able to purchase this jacket and I was wondering what you guys wear.

If the picture upload doesn't work, here's a link to one of the company's i tried to buy one from.

Thanks

I actually have that same Shift jacket - I think it's the 08 though, it's all black. It's got good protection in the shoulders, back and elbows. Or so it seems, I haven't tested it.

My only gripe is it was supposed to be waterproof, I got stuck in a pretty good rain and my chest got pretty wet.. Came in through the zippers (which are "waterproofed")

Not a huge deal, I try to only wear it when street riding in nice weather.

If I were to do it again I'd probably get a jacket more aimed for dual sporting.. Looser fitting, more rugged/waterproof..

EDIT: Just checked ebay, this looks nice, might have to order one!!

You want an awesome jacket? You found it

I took the shoulder plates out though, and buy it one number larger than
you'd usually buy stuff

I was wrong - I have the Shift Triton Storm Series jacket.

This one but 2008 - looks identical: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...c=2&zmap=13163

It's in XL if you like it, maybe we can work something out - I hardly ever wear it and I've been wanting a more dual sport targeted jacket.

Got the Teknic Supervent Pro.
It gets hot down here.

Got it one size bigger too, it comes up small.

That's the exact same jacket I've been trying to buy just a different color! I really like it but it looks like I may have to find something else. I usually get a medium and all I can find is large.

I like the triton...hmmm. I also like the one on ebay. I just want something that has some green in it! (and has a good price, and is waterproof, and has a collar, and and and)
