Me and my experiance in past cars and towns with out major gasoline Franchises,,,, ("You Get What You Pay For") Times like this you can even save a few since and buy more water or you can just pay for it and get good gas,,, Just my 2 sense,, Premium all the way!!! BUt at a nice BIG Franchise station,, I wont second guess regular but still prefer Premium.. I Think The book calls for the same but dont qoute me on that...

But anyways Welcome to KF man,, Hope you enjoy your stay and congrats on the new KLX comming in 2 days!!

KLX Sticker on my rear fender, (under the rack), says use only 91 octane fuel.

Happy Trails,

Hey ya'll do realize that higher octane gas has less btu's or energy per gallon right?? Higher octane retards detonation....basically you should run the lowest octane you can without having early detonation issues to get the most power....just sayin.

She fills you up, or you fill......................?

I use Shell V-power (95). No problems.

Just as long as you try to use the same every fill, and from a station that is busy. That way, you can be pretty sure the gas is 'fresh'.
