What do you guys do with your old bike tires? They wear out so fast, i have 3 soon to be 4 old tires at my dads garage. Where do you dispose of them? I thaught about hitting up a Wendys or walmart dumpster.... i dont want to have to pay to get rid of them....

Iknow up here in CT there is a dealer that actuallys sells used tires (if there not totally bald). He gets about 20 bucks a piece for them. Dont know if any dealers do that around you, but if they do, i'm sure they'll take them off your hands.

 

Haven't had to think about it yet. Only have 700 miles on the original ones. The dirt track I use takes old tires to use as barriers. You might check with the tracks in your area.

 

you could throw them in a river and watch them float away, kinda like what I do with the used motor oil from my diesel truck.

Lol I i kid, I kid. Thats like the worst thing to do to the environment. No I don't do that. I just dump my used oil in the ground and bury it with my tires.

 

lighting them on fire is pretty echo freindly too

 

or make your own studded snow tires[sm=icon_rock.gif]

 

thaught about just dropping them off at the dealer "after hours" let them deal with it.... would that be wrong?
