Default Western Carolina Newbie

Ok, I'm a new member. I traded my '09 KLR for a '10 KLX250s. I felt that trying to ride the KLR on trails was like trying to wrestle a pig. I re-jetted the carb, added the FMF exhaust, skid plate and a new Corbin seat. Someone out there convince me to why I should like this bike. I think I might have made a big mistake. Maybe a KTM 450 is what I needed. I'm 6 foot and 240 lbs. I feel like Zippy the Pinhead while riding. Please be kind with your response. I've owned a Honda 650L, a Dr-650, a KLR650 and now this. After buying the bike the dealership told me that Kawasaki will be releasing a 450 next year. That really helps my buyer confidence.

You don't like it on the trails? It's not that fast on the road but I like the power curve for riding trails, and the bike is really light.
