Thumbs up West Aus muscle! 56K warning!

I had about two hours to hit the local trails today so I set out for a familiar ride down the pipeline with a pit stop for some tucker at the local tavern. Things didn't go to plan, but it wasn't all bad. As I headed for the hills I joined a convoy of 7 57' Chevys. Curiosity got the better of me and when we slowed in the town limits I realised they were part of a custom rod show in the hills town of Mundaring. Annual pipeline custom car show. I knew the tavern here served good counter food so I put the ride on hold for a few days (sorry girl) and helped myself to a great steak sandwich and some cold beer. With beer in hand I spent the next hour enjoying the weather and the awesome motors that were on show at this annual event. Cars aren't really my thing and especially not the early custom rod scene but I must say there were some really well turned out cars. If anyone can name all the models in the photos I'll be mightily impressed. There was a good mix of USA and AUS models by the looks of things, left and right hand drive. My favorite is the Holden Torana SLR500, top Aussie muscle! The Camaros looked good too.

If you look hard you can see the "meenie greenie" mauling a Harley and its plus size owner. Haha.

Sweet! That is a way acceptable reason to postpone a ride. I'm not a motor head but man can I appreciate the love and attention to detail. Thanks for sharing this!

I think it's just odd to see an old muscle car or hot rod with the steering wheel on the wrong side.
