Default Went back to Tolland Forest in Otis, MA - more pics and couple vids

This time I brought a better camera! Lots of cool stuff in this forest.. One thing I've learned from riding forests - you never know what you'll see

Here's some pics of some of the trails:

Came upon this fort of some sort.. That's me and my buddy Steve with the Honda:

I somehow managed to run into a mud bog field of some sort.. That was fun trying to get it out.

A small family grave site.. Pretty crazy to think what all this must have looked like 150 years ago! This is a couple miles into the forest I believe... Guessing that this was all farm land at one point - the forest is probably relatively young..

That's about it for the pics.. Did about 35-40 miles..

Here's a couple youtube videos of a nice water crossing there.. First a pic:

And the videos..

Steve is up first: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWpooGgxIYE

And me following: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhQ9Z06KE7k

Just wanted to share some pics from the lovely North East!

Pine needles like ice. Leaves not much better. Great pics!

Wasn't bad!! The ground under was nice and soft so traction was still good.

Great day all in all.. Will be heading to Pittsfield Forest next week - gotta get it all in before it's too cold!!
