That's funny since I went through the same thing when I bought the KLX. I wanted the dirt version of the DRZ and was planning to the the super moto set-up for street riding. I talked myself out of it since I already had a street bike and it the DRZ would have ended up costing a bunch by the time I got it the way I wanted it, and I would have had to sold my ZX10. One of the great things about the DRZ is that there are tons of aftermarket parts for it and you can get a bunch more power out of it.

Good luck in your search. I looked long and hard in the midwest for a used one and never found anything so it may take some patience.

 

After reading all this I have come to one conclusion ....... boy am I glad I live in Australia, you guys might have cheaper prices for everything but you have no choices ... over here we have all the enduros registerable all the husky's, ktm's, aprillia's (they are a work of art) and of course wr's, klx's, crf's and all the rest. We really do live in the lucky country.
