So finally got the 07 KLX 250s out into some trails. Bike was running great and still does!

I might have been caught up in the ride since I got it and didn't notice the noise before, but I got a light rattle at low RPM's when the clutch is pulled in from around the carb area?

Once the clutch is released and I'm under load it goes away. Not sure if this is normal, or if I should hunt for it more..lol No noticeable change in performance and response.

 

Cam chain tensioner maybe...

 

Make sure the front of your saddle is seated into the fastener. Try lifting up on the front of your seat. If its loose you'll know.

 

I've narrowed it to the internals of the carb. I've got a Keihin FCR 35mm, and not sure if this is "normal". Without tearing it apart yet it sounds like as I engage the throttle, as the carb opens it's rattling like the flap inside is loose? I know it's got a proper name I'm just having a brain fart..lol But, that seems to be what it's from.

 

is that a flat slide carb? if so thats normal for flate slide.
