Damn you guys! My bookmarks folder has 3x's as many links to KLX parts as there are other websites. My bookmarks list actually has to scroll down the page! Looks like I need to categorize it and put them in folders[:'(]

I had previously installed the cheaper Magura 314 throttle: http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/...pull_throttle/

I do not recommend it. After flipping my bike this past weekend, the plastic broke. I was afraid of that when I first received and installed the throttle, I thought to myself "Hmmmm, plastic, that's gonna break." so it did:

I've got a Vortex on order.

I've been thinking about this mod for a while and finally ordered the Vortex Throttle and installed it this afternoon.

All I have to say....... is HOLY CRAP, THIS THING IS SCARY FUN!!!

Can't speak to the benefits for a stock bike, but on the 331 Big bore / FCR35 pumper carb, the thing ROCKS... I pop the front tire on each gear shift!!! (Brian, your going to love this when you get to ride her again!!!!)

I think I finally have the enduro bike I've wanted...

I STRONGLYRECOMMEND this mod for anyone who rides dirt most of the time, not sure it would be that great for road riding and the lack of a return cable means theres no backup except for the kill switch, but hell, thats what I had with my CR125R...

No difference once your up to speed, but the initial burst is AWESOME!!!!

Cool!

I've got something called a G2 Throttle cam for my bike that does something similar. It doesn't change the overall throttle pull length, but it does make the throttle actuation either more or less responsive depending on which cam you install. Less responsive giving better control for rocky rooty trails and technical riding and the more responsive one being better for when you want more snap. The cams are easily interchanged and I've got the less responsive cam in right now to mellow the 450 on the trail. But after reading these reviews, maybe I should try the snappier one.
