Mac Tools makes a feeler gauge set that is angled, with metric and sae readings. It reads from .006 (.152 mm) to .030 (.762 mm). Part number FG275 lists for $15. Here's a pic

Hey Guys the brass feeler gauges are for old magnetic ignitions back in the 60's and 70's they had a magnetic pick up and the brass would not afect it

Any product recommendations for the liquid gasket/silicone sealant that goes on the "plug holes" on the cylinder head? And does it just get applied to the bottom of the half round plugs?
Also, according to the service manual supplement, the valve cover gasket is listed in the exploded view as a "replacement part". Its not shown that way in the regular manual, though. Any thoughts on if it should be replaced or not after 1,100 km?

Blue sensor safe Permatex was recommended in my other post about the valves, and it only goes in the 2 half circles in the cylinder head. Just a dab to keep the round tabs in place.
