Maybe a little late here, but I had the same problem, I also had my front fender scaping the edge of the left gaurd. My solution was to shim the rear two bolts that hold the front fender with a thick washer, it adjusted the fender less than 1/4 of an inch but cured all the clearance issues.

Nice pics of the *Dirty Bike*. I have no doubt that mine will be as *Dirty*.
I take good care of my *Toys* and clean them up when I am done playing.

They last longer that way.

After the Radiator Guards are installed, it'son to install the kickstarter!

That was also going to be one of the things I tried.

It's good to know that I was thinking along the same path!

hey guys (and gals),

I was bored so decided to take off the rad guards and paint them..gold..I think they look sharp gold, anyway, I decided to follow Lauren's lead and change the route for the clutch cable...but after disconnecting the bracket near the actuator and pulling the actuator forward to release the cable end, it stayed forward..I pushed (forced) it back into its postion, but am worried I may have damaged something..I did not expect the actuator to stay forward but to spring back into position. I don't know how the clutch felt before this happened (without bike running) but with the clutch in and bike in first gear the bike feels like it is partially in gear. ie I can spin the back wheel, but not nearly as freely as when the bike is neutral..is this normal?
