Default UnaBiker Install Issue

Ok, I got my UnaBiker radiator guards and I followed the instructions.
The clutch cable on my 2007 KLX250S has *zero* clearance from the front of the UnaBiker to the fender.
I tried several different places along the face of the UnaBiker Guard and even thought about modifying the
UnaBiker guard.

Here is my solution; I re-routed the clutch cable slightly. The only issue might be a little more heat from the
exhaust pipe, but I think the risk is minimal since the curve near the exhaust is only *slightly* closer than before
and the metal bend should shield it enough..fingers crossed.

What do you guys think?

That looks like it should be okay..does the clutch still operate at maximum turn each way? If it does, I'd say you are good to go.

Thanks!
With the slighty modified clutch cable routing, there is no contact with the rear of the frontfender and I get full movement of the clutch cable.

If I had left the clutch cable where it was, it would *always* rub when I moved the steering left or right.
The UnaBiker guards are really nice, but I think they extent a bit too far forward...maybe an inch or so.

I think the cross braces inside the UnaBiker guard would have been better on the outside, and that
would have pushed the front part of the guard closer to the radiator. Then there would be no clearance issues.

The way the UnaBiker guards are designedlook great, but the clutch cable hasvery little space in theplace
next to the down frame member.

Oh it's going to get REALLY dirty in the near future!
The bike looks so clean because it's about a week or two old.

I didn't want to get it in the dirt until I put these guards on.
