Default Two Brothers Slip-On

Hey, is anyone running a Two Brothers Slip-On? How do you like it? Are there noticeable performance increases? How loud is it? Thanks

Performance seemed to be more responsive, although I wonder how much of that is mental due to the fact it sounds faster.
It is VERY loud. I ordered the P3 tip for mine which made it much quieter. You will not sneak thru the woods without the tip, and I needed earplugs when riding with a motorcross helmut.
Lots of backfiring as well, I assume when I rejet I can clear that up.

Ridiculously loud, almost unbearable at 6,000rpm. But it's a lot of fun, much lighter, and maybe it's just in my head, but the bike seems quicker.

Well first of all welcome to the forums. Second...post up in the new members area so we can give you a real welcome. And third I have no idea on the Two Brothers Slip-On, since I bought the best pipe...The MUZZY of course. Just kidding, I respect all pipes and the owners that buy them.

Dislcaimer: No non Muzzy owners were hurt in the making of this thread. At least not physically.

i enjoy the sound, but it is a tad loud

I run the FMF Q4 which is the best sounding pipe in the universe (including the muzzy which is so obnoxiously loud that it ought the be outlawed) but think I recall when the 2brothers first came out everyone was saying that you had to get the quietest quite core you could get your hands cause the pipe was just too much. My advice is to get the Q4 and forget about it.

Default two bros slip on

I've got one with an FMF p-bomb header, changed one thing at a time and did notice a power difference with the slip on and then the p-bomb,It is loud so i put a P1 tip in it recently just to take the edge off and it did the trick. You could probably go with a P4 tip if you wanted it quieter again but still hear it .The KLx sounds like a postie bike with stock exhaust (Honda Ct70)

I have the 2 bros slip on muff. Its loud, but so what? If I wanted quiet I woulda left the stock one in place. I plug in the iPod, crank up some Metallica, and its all good !!

I also rejetted the bike when I installed the pipe, It has more power, but what I really noticed is how much better it revs now. No more falling on its face between shifts, stays in the rpm 's much closer for the next shift, responds quicker to throttle inputs, I like it alot.
