Default Two Brothers melting rear end

I have a 2007 KLX250s and put on a two brothers exhaust about 200 miles ago.

In the two miles I have driven the bike since the upgrade, I have had a huge problem....

The exhaust is angled directly at the rear fender where the circle reflector is and is melting, as in dripping plastic, the reflector, the black lower fender and the green upper fender in that area.
If anyone else has experienced this, have you found a solution to prevent the melting? Also, the exhaust seems to not be positioned correctly too, because if you look on the inside side of the exhaust can,
you can see a huge black line where the rubber of the tire has hit the exhaust can from the suspension compression on jumps.

I was thinking about putting a 1" spacer or something between the upper exhaust bracket and the mounting bracket on the frame, but that seems like it would put tension on the exhaust tubing.

Ill post pictures of both issues if requested once I get home.

Take that plastic ... huh stuff off and throw it away. It's going to get caught in something or smashed by a rock, ... that could be painful!

Something sounds wrong there, the tire should definitely not hit the exhaust. Do you have lowering links installed?

No lowering links, and I have the stock suspension adjusted so its actually as tall as the bike can be.

I'm on an SF which is an inch lower and I run a 150 rear tire, previous owner had 3" lowering links with the stock tire and no contact. Have any pictures of yours? Here is a couple of mine for reference.
