Awesome! Finally someone bought the 2-Bros. The suspense was killing me! I've seen them on other bikes and they look to be very well built. They sound good as well, though slighty on the loud side.

Let us know how she goes. Are you going or have rejetted. They say you don't need to with a slip on but not sure. Post a pic if you can, I bet it looks killer.

Who told you that you dont need to re-jett with a slip-on?

You must re-jett with a slip-on or a full exhaust swap.

This is from the two brothers web site.

Do I need a jet kit?

Need? No. Want? Probably. A Two Brothers Racing exhaust system will almost never cause a bike to run worse than it did with the stock exhaust system. However the addition of a jet kit or Power Commander will improve performance and rideability on most models. Performance gains vary among bikes, ask us what’s right for you.
That's who told me.

They may be assuming that the stock bike isn't already running very lean. Normally off-road purpose bikes aren't jetted nearly as lean as what a street legal bike is like the KLX. Making it even leaner with the freer flowing pipe could have consequences.

That statement is irresponsible and incomplete. As long as you left the airbox in it's current, choked-up state, you MIGHT be able to get away without re-jetting, but what's the point of that? I don't think anybody wants to spend the better part of $400.00 for looks and sound only. Most are looking for a performance gain as well. For that, you will need to open up the airbox and rejet.

One thing for sure...do not open the airbox without re-jetting. Do so and you are inviting serious damage to your top end.
