Tusk D-Flex hanguards
I bought a set of these from rockymountainatv and I like them. The green matches my bike pretty closely. Other than cutting off the ends of my grips to insert the expanding sleeve, I didn't have to modify anything. I haven't crash tested them, but they seem pretty stout.

I ran Tusk with the extra spoiler for a while until another member here offered up some Bark Busters at a great price. They were crash tested many times and performed well. A good product at a great price. Now they're on the KLR.

Those look a lot like the Acerbis and the Chinese copies I have on my KLXs. I have tested the Aerbis on the 650, actually bent the left one in a bit on a hard fall to that side when the front wheel washed out in a rut at a fairly high speed for a trail - work fine! Haven't really tested the ones on the 250 and really don't want to, but probably will one of these days.

II’ve paid alot more for cycra handguards and had more trouble getting them mounted up. The tusk ones were very inexpensive and simple to get mounted on the bars. Buying expensive brackets wasn’t required. I won’t go through that again.
