If find it totally amazing that officials working in a state that is in economic chaos, social chaos, and just plain chaos, think they have the time and focus to hassle a guy with an otherwise street legal motorcycle who installed improved and superior non-DOT LED turn signals...but I'd totally believe it. Places with the problems that Cali has seem to have those problems because no one can apply logic and common sense to a problem. They're looking for the gnat in a citizen's eye when they have a telephone pole stuck in their own.

That's Kalifornia for you. The fines they collect pay their own salary. They set up an adventure pass system (toll collection) to ride through trails in state parks. Haven't paid for this yet. I wave at the ranger and keep on going... Like I did this morning.

Hey Guys

Mike here from Extreme Dual Sport. While our Lites are not DOT compliant, we have yet to have an issue here in central California. Most cops will be happy to see any turn signals, especially ones that are super bright and not broken. We were tired of breaking all of the china made lites so we designed and manufactured our Tuff Lites here in CA. Here are some better pictures!

Do you have any trouble with the wiring when mounting them in this position?

Seriously, looks like a great product!
