Default Tryin to reason

So, I have been listening to everyone, and trying to decide what ride to take up to Maine on Columbus Day weekend.
I figured I would spend a day on the KLX, and see how it went
Started out riding the powerlines again

They dont always look like much, but if you ride powerlines , you know they send the dam lines up and over, down and around and through just about anything.
Sometimes there easy

Sometimes they aint

So I was going to meet up with my wingman, and ride some local trails up in the north part of the state.
He rides a KLR 650, his son is on a RM-100 2 smoker, and another guy on an old XL-250, my brotherinlaw on his XR-250 and my nephew on his WR-250 meet us there. I had left my quad there and another buddy showed up to ride it.

We have a good old gravel bank to thrash around in, and a few good jumps built in.

We have a pretty good area to ride in, the locals have been riding in there for years. There is a little gravel bank, a big gravel bank, a cool clay pit, and a bunch of rocky trails connecting everything. Its all private property, so you have to be cool, clean up, and try not to **** off any of the neighbors with loud exhausts.

We get good air off the jumps

Yup, he gets GOOD AIR on a KLR-650 Frickin Nut-job !!

We get into the clay pit, and man you can get some serious bite on the machines, and go like a son-of-a-bitch in there.

Its a excellent place to fart around in, we tend to thrash the snottoutta everything there. We all switch off and ride each others machine for a bit, I'll tell ya, the little KLX gets great reviews from everyone. It jumps nicely, has a great suspension, turns well, just overall a good little bike.

But when you crash, it sucks. Well, crashin sucks no matter where you do it.

Right after I snapped this picture, Jake dropped dads bike, it wasnt pleasent for him, he didnt get hurt, well, his feelings did. I think I was laughing to much and running over to help him so I forgot to take a picture, Ima' thinkin he was glad I didnt !!

I pulled a digger in there, and stuffed my wrist into the ground pretty good, all the assheads did was laugh, aw-well, screw them, see If I invite them to go north for the last ride in November ( actually I will, but I aint tellin them yet)
I am sure my accupuncturist will put a few needles in me to take away the pain.

My sister lives nearby, so after all my idiot buddys left, she dropped off my neice so she could get a chance to go out and play on the quad.

I wish we could legally ride more highlines. There's a SWEET highline out at Camp Livingston but they designated it a protected area for some stupid flower and you get a nice fat ticket if you get caught over there. Same on the gas pipeline, except for wild turkeys. However I did find an epic highline in my adventures today, might have to con the old man into tackling it with me.
