Default Trailer for behind the KLX?

Does anyone have a trailer they use behind the KLX?

I am mostly thinking about utility around the house. Landscape projects etc. having a trailer to haul the occasional item home or to the dump would be sweet.

I mainly use a setup similar to Bill Moore's lawn tractor/trailer deal on some projects on my acreage. It's surprising how heavy that little trailer can get with just a little dirt or other more solid loads. The rear subframe on our KLX and most bikes like it aren't up to that kind of pulling load IMO. You could improve that with a lower frame mount of some kind, but at this point you gotta ask yourself if it's all really worth it.

If you have some property where you're thinking about using this, why don't you already have a lawn tractor, a real tractor, or pickup? Another dual purpose use item would be a small one-axle utility trailer that you can use as a motorcycle trailer and for utility purposes out on the property? A small utility trailer has to be one of the most useful items out there for all manner of things.

it sounded form his statment he wants to use it on the road and in your best intrest unless you have a goldwing(or something similar) a trailer is going to kill going anywhere because you won't have the power to get anywhere

Similar to the moto mule is the Trail Tail.
BTW, the owners manual states that our KLX is not suitable for towing trailers. That might just be CYA on the part of Kawi or ......
