Default Trail through Mormon Rocks - Cajon Pass Ca.

Went for an impromptu ride yesterday – thought I was going to be stuck in a long meeting on Friday but it was pretty quick. It helps when the client is in a hurry

I got back from the office and loaded up and headed out. I went to the Lytle Creek area and found a trail through Mormon Rocks - Cajon Pass Ca. I like Rock formations and I did not know you could get in there like that... That is a repeat ride for sure.

BP88 and JP3 and X and anybody... We gotta go!

My shoulder is better. I trailered it out there and I put 49.7 miles (trip meters are cool) on the bike in the trails. I kinda pu-put along so it took a few hours...

Ahhhh the best therapy out there is trailer riding
(and Kayaking... and errr ummm yea.)

I only had the cell phone camera... it kinda sucks... but here is a pic.

Excellent!, its great to have even a cell phone with ya for those not so planned for rides. The Blackberry has come in handy several times lately when I just decided to detour from my normal ride home. Thanks man.

Hey Chris, I'm ready to ride! My leg is a lot stronger and I can jump and run now too! Let's plan it!

Hi Chris- I used to live in Victorville and work in Ontario and El Mirage. I've ridden up 138 many times. But back then I didn't have my little Kawi. I get back there from time to time. Mind telling me where you found the trail so I can file it away? Looks cool!

Thanks

SA (Zinc?)

Sure man
I-15 between Cleghorn and Kenwood exits. Off Cajon blvd (old route 66) you'll find a little turnoff called Swarthout Canyon Rd is paved the first 1/4 mile. Then it is Licenced vehicles only no GReen sticker so we are IN!

I got lost, but had the GPS in my pocket as backup. Trails are easy.

Maybe we can get a group together and good around. Next weekend is my 10 yo b-dau party, then the 4th... after that?

I may go up on next Friday or ??? I'll post here.
