Default trail ride South Australia

Spent the weekend at the inlaws shack about 2hrs drive from Adelaide, it is in a communty of shacks close to the beach at the end of the town.

The cool thing is I can ride on the beach then gain access to some public land that is semi cliff coastal areas where trail riders ride.

Along the coast there is pockets of little fun areas to ride, from deep beach sand to technical rock crossing to hill climbs of various degrees of difficulty to some small jumps.

After my hunting trip this was my first serious trail ride and im loving the little green bike more and more, I have set up the bike for a full offroad.

I have deristricted the carb, rejetted, and put on the staintune pipe, (the sound is AWESOME) I also decided to remove the air box lid completely, and I have got a 13 tooth front sprocket replacement but ran out of time to put on, but this will give me the low down torque I want.

Had an absolute blast and I think the next step is the bigbore kit !!

My 4 year old daughter is getting heaps better on her KFX 50 quad, and she rode with me on the KLX as well.

I also bought a leatt neck brace and found it very comfortable and after a while forgot I was even wearing it.

All in all had a ball and looking forward to the next ride

Beautiful scenery, beutiful family, and beutiful bikes...When did your daughter start riding? I have a two yr. old that can't hold his excitement every time he sees my bike. I want to get him started as soon as he's able...don't tell my wife though.

thanks mate,

she started when she was 3 1/2 I just went out and bought the quad I went the kawasaki as it looked the most stable quad on market, next is a 2 wheel pee wee but her favourite colour is blue so it may have to be a yammi (doh !!!)

I will support them all the way and If they want to race, womens ama ???? well you never no !!

Staintune is awesome,BIG difference in power !!!! although I changed it for the older model as I wanted a removable restrictor, but it stuffs the indicator but as I dont ride on the road it doesnt bother me, in terms of price it was comparable to anything direct from US, the newer model for the 09 looks more like a mx race pipe
