Although I'm more than competent and experienced on the road, I'm a real noob at this off road stuff (like 3 time total now).Last weekend I went to Loretto Lynn's (TN) for a trail ride. Me and about 600 other riders I'd guess.

Well, I didn't see anything other than off-road bikes, so I think I was the only registered street-legalvehicle out there. I think they actually laughed at me at the sound check (Ha! Little did they know I did the 'ole 1/2" hole in the last baffle thing!)

I think I reduced the dork factor by removing the mirrors, avoiding the use of turn signals and not honking while passing, but should I have removed the plate?

P.S. I had a blast.

 

sounds like fun!! i use the turn signals sometimes in the woods around other riders... justto be funny.....
