Is a Tacker D rear fender a direct bolt on for a 07 250s? Are the frames the same on these bikes? Has anybody done this mod? Thanks!

 

Funny you should ask, I just happened to take pics today. Direct bolt on. I had to drill the side rack holes & blinker wire holes though. The top rack holes where there but had plugs in them. The fenders have to be the same style as the stock one. Thats a D-Tracker tail light too. Half the weight, brake light included, direct plug in. Looks much better IMHO. Got off this board to boot.

KLXer that is a fender off an older D-Tracker Version right (-'04) ?

That is the same fender the Jap spec Klx's got until the '07 The '04+ D Tracker Fender was a straight fender..

And KLXer where did you get that fender? My black one is scratched up now!

Someone on here, I think installed a fender that is more of a straight back design, it looks more like an MX fender. That fender looks kind of like a KLR fender and really close to the stock fender. Here is a stock 06 on my bike with the Acerbis Tail Light. I still prefer this look so far.

What's so different about it? It looks like the same fender that was on the bike except it's ugly white now.
