Default Toodyay Road ride today. A hot 38oC!

Managed to fit a good 90 minute ride in this morning before I shoot to work. 38oC and I was feeling it for sure. Managed to bang of a few snaps and a short video clip. Enjoy, especially you guys in the north whose only fun at the moment is doing donuts with snow blower. Damn, it's been hot this week.

A shot of one of the gnarly hills I made it up.

Finally on top after a very hot 10 minutes going up.

The view down towards Perth and the Indian Ocean.

I left the OE Dunlop's on today as I was in a rush. Worked OK except for the sand.

Taking a breather. Nearly on top.

Yours truly. Hot but, "Do I look bovered.....Do I?"

Me running one of the fire trails off Toodyay Road. Topped 80kmh.

Your ride needs new shoes getting pretty thin.

The frame guards and bash plate are both from B&B Offroad in Melbourne. They send stuff internationally. You can contact them via the website.

The AC10s are looking just fine. I usually change the OE Dunlops out for the WE rides. The Dunlops do just fine on the slab. No rain here for 4 weeks. Don't expect any for at least another 12 weeks.

We are just seeing the last of three weeks of record snowfall. I can finally see bits of my lawn again. I would pay money just to lay in the sun in the dirt on that hill you were climbing. I need some vitamin D.
Hey Oz, I am thinking of buying some andy straps panniers from over there. I have heard that they are excellent. Is the company anywhere near where you live?
