Default Today's Project (Wheel Stand)

Hey gang, since I need to straighten my wheels and its the start of the North East winter (16F and snowing) I decided to build a stand so I could work on the wheels in the house. Materials required were ~31' of 2x4's, box of screws, 1: 2'long 1/2" threaded rod, and 1: 2' long 3/4" threaded rod with matching nuts and washers. It took me around 2 hrs or so to build, its a bit overbuilt but I wanted it to be stable while working on the wheels with a dial indicator. I'll attach the plans below, the only thing I did differently while building it was open the 10" dimension to 13" to be sure I could fit both wheels in at the same time. I did this because it will also serve as a storage rack for my spare set of wheels (I have street tires and dirt tires). I drew it up in Autocad and can modify it for anyone that wants it slightly different if you are interested in it.

Sorry for it being so fuzzy, I had to export as a .bmp, then convert to a .jpg to keep the file size low.
