We've had the warmest December I ever remember.

This is the latest in the season I've ever ridden a bike. At this point I see no reason to winterize as in less than 60 days it will be March and I will be riding.

I threw a trickle charge on and calling it good. Filled the tank with real ethanol free gas and drained the bowl.

I'm gonna ride tomorrow, cold or not. It's supposed to be dry, so why not... but then again I'm much further south, down here in Ohio.

About 50 years ago in Iowa I rode 365 days in a row, maybe to prove a point, might have been insanity who knows. Snow, sleet, ice, rain and all of the worst. I was around 20 years old and the body was in much better shape. That might be the reason I hurt so much today when I just look out the window and see snow!

Did you wind up with satisfactory jetting on the carb?

Winter is the time to do upgrades, that's why we have it.

Not completely satisfied yet... think I might try dropping one notch on the needle. Runs well, but still have the backfires on deceleration and hard to start warm, but that could be a weak battery. Have a earthx lithium waiting to get installed...

Now all I need is time to do it
