Scott, where did you get the panniers?

Right here Mark. http://www.moto-sportpanniers.com/dirtbagz/index.html

They survived really well with only a tiny tear. Pisses me off but I think it saved the side cover?;)

I really like them because I had them on my 06 XRL-650 and they work very well. On both bikes.

Here it is.

I am still waiting for the rest of my parts, so I can get it back on the road.

Watch out for really high shipping cost if you buy direct. About $28.00 on a $32.00 fender. (BURN!!!)

It ended up the same cost as a stock one. I'm ok with it but seems kind of like a rip off ebayish shipping scam. [sm=boosign.gif]

You may have already said and I just missed it, but where did you get the green rims? Were they expensive? I really like the look and it just so happens that my birthday is coming up soon (as if I need an excuse).

I bought them from a forum member. (GreenKLX) He rode them around the block once and decided to go another way with his bike. I paid $1,100.00 with shipping and they came with stock hups and nice tires, wave front rotor and a back rotor. Turn key setup and I am really impressed with how they make the bike function. Freeway is really a joy being lowered, as long as I don't push it too hard. It can really be windy and it does not really move around at all. The rims are wider then what comes on a D-tracker. 3.50 X 17" ft. 4.25 X 17" Rr Excel are what the rims are.
