Maybe that's why I'm single..
I am fortunate. Even after breaking my neck and nearly dying from a ruptured lung when on an MX bike missing a double - stuffed the second jump - she never asked me to quit riding. She knew what it was part of my life. This was about 2 years before we were married.
He didn't say she was nagging, just worried. Gotta do what you gotta do. May be young kids in the mix, a real man takes his responsibilities seriously. I sold my sport bikes when I had my second kid, too many close calls and too many folks depending on me. I also cut back on time consuming hobbies while my kids were growing up, only so much time. As soon as they were older and we were financially set a bike was back in the garage.
