Nice to hear a knowledgeable person give an Okey-Dokey to the theory.
In the most simple terms: the Thermo-Bob allows the engine to get warm more quickly, then STAY warm, without jolting the cylinder with slugs of cold coolant. Theoretically, this should be better than the stock setup.
