Default Is there slack for a bar riser?

Hello, all! I just got an awesome deal on a 2019 KLX250S and I love it. The bike has been lowered due to my wifes height. I will have to use a new bar taper or a bar riser so the bark busters have enough purchase room to clamp to. My question is: Is there enough slack in the cables, etc. to bring the bar up a couple centimeters or a half inch or so? I don't want it too high as we already like the ergos.

Thanks again, yall! I look forward to being a part of your great community!

I put a 3" extension on the top clamp and did not change cables on my 07. I might of had to reroute a cable or something, don't remember.

My '09 required a clutch cable from a KLR650 after putting on 1/2" risers.

Might be pushing it. I have a 2018 and after puting on protaper bars that are a bit higher than stock, my clutch cable is really tight on full left turn.

'08 KLR650 clutch cable (p/n 54011-0556) is what did the trick for me. It will handle much more than a 1/2" riser.
