Default thankyou!

It has been a year since I posted on this forum, but I wanted to thank the guy's who responded when I inquired about the klx 250. The information was very helpful, just wanted to let you all know that I finally purchased a bike, KLX400R but it is plated. It is very close to what I wanted, with the exception of tires its perfect for me. Well almost perfect, 10 lbs and 1000 hp would be just right!, lol! but anyway thanks Deej, Shadetree, Nobreaks and anyone else I forgot to mention.

but the main thing is it has that suzuki DRZ engine, and that engine maybe one of the top ten off-road engines ever made and put into a motorcycle. it's proven and bulletproof.

That is correct. And of course his name isn't IG and he isn't bragging about how muchbetter it is than the klx.

Congrats on the new bike dirtbogger.

IG, it's the same bike. In every way.
For a period Kawasaki and Suzuki had a few models that were the same bike badged under both brands.
There was talk of the 2 merging and becoming 1 company.
That didn't happen and both brands have now gone there own way again. (I think)
I didn't think there any common models any more.
I don't know if they are sharing any R & D.

Heh IG, imagine a green DRZGettin' a chubby?
A yellow KLX would float my boat
