It is. The DJ needle is richer than stock though.

Richer than stock KLX300?

Even if it is I don't know you'd need the extra gas, that KLX300 needle's working very well on my 250 with it at the second groove. The middle groove was too rich per a/f meter

It matters. The pilot system supplements the needle and main.

The pilot's always flowing something, but I think you just tune it for easy starting and off idle fuel mixture throttle response while the needle and the main interact at their respective throttle positions.

If I can't find the specs I can look when I take off to replace it with the 36.

Pilot system set too lean also causes decel popping.

Right. No popping here and the idle a/f is in the 12s
