Thanks Brian, I agree, but that strap that you show actually is known for pulling apart, I'll go look for a couple, thanks man.

Perhaps, but my Wolfman tankbag is held on with a buckle like that and it has never come loose.

But you get the idea - bungee stretches and allows the load to shift around and stuff to fall off.
