Default Tearing down the bike, anything hidden I need to know?

Well its supposed to rain today / tomorrow, so I can't ride BUt I have the itch to take everything off of it that I can, clean it, service it, lube it, whatever. Other than the obvious stuff like plastics and gas tank and airbox, anything else I can take off and lube or clean? I'm thinking about the swingarm, since I have so much time.... never had it off the bike... Any suggestions?

I would grease all bearings.. Swingarm, wheels, stearing column (or what is it called on a bike?! haa) Lube your chain and check it's slack, oil change, coolant flush, clean/oil air filter...

That's probably a good start

Y mod for the carb' breathers. MTB tube or old wetsuit sleeve, over the rear shock if you have it out. Keeps it cleaner. Just leave a hole up top and down below for air to circulate and water to drain.

Put some anti-seize on the bolts that go into the tank.
Pull the front axle also and grease it up.
Get one of the cable lubricators and use it on the clutch and throttle cables.

Ride on
