Of course street bikes can go down, but I don't think a skid plate is going to do anything at all to help!! If you lay the bike down the skid plate won't even come close to touching the ground.. The engine guards will help but the skid plate will do nothing. That's all I was saying, it's kinda pointless on a 100% street bike other than for looks..

But hey, it's not my $ I'm a function over form kinda guy!

And if you have no interest in the 351 kit then I'm guessing you've never rode a KLX with one on it!!

That's true, the skid plate won't help much, but the engine guards attach to the skid plate, can't have one without the other. That's also true about the 351 kit. If I did, I might.

Ahhh, I see, I thought it was two different pieces and the skid plate itself was $219.. This makes more sense now.

Abd yes, you woulda lika da 351
