My Garmin GPSmap 76 fits in the plastic window, barely, but I don't like it there. On a RAM mount is much better for my use.

No personal experience (I have the RAM mount), but I've read that it can get too warm in the map pocket for electronics.

$110 shipped sounds OK to me, but I'm in the Great White North.

Oh yeahh.. didn't even think of the ventilation issue.. good call..

Well too late for the Op...but I just picked up a "Joe Rocket" Manta bag..very cool little bag,has magnet hold downs,VERY strong...under 50 bucks..love it
