Default Synthetic Oil

FYI for anyone who hasen't run with synthetic oil. What a difference. Smoother shifting and reduced engine noise. I also recently installed the DID xring chain. It's pretty sweet and also much quiter than the stock one.

I was running sperm whale oil and switched to Castrol GPS synthetic motorcycle oil - it's about $8 a quart and well worth it plus it comes in a cool green bottle.

I run Royal Purple Max Cycle in all of my bikes - frickin' $10.99 a quart though. The stuff just never seems to break down and is really "clingy" to everything it touches.

Mobil-1 MX4T 10w-40 here, seams to work very well.
I also run the stuff in my Honda push mower, 6 seasons old and still runs like new.

I ran the amsoil full synthetic in a 500 Honda and had trouble with the clutch slipping. Took the oil out and no more problems. Figured it worked to well. Had any trouble?

Mobile -1 MX4T 10w-40 or Mobile - 1 V-twin oil 20w-50 Figure if the oil can take the heat of a v twin it will have an easy day in the KLX
