SWEET powder coated wheels and new tires

damn, I must be getting old because I think those tires rock! I like the whole look, it's awesome. I wonder if they make those tires in a size for my new DRZSM. That way I could use it off-road a little before the full fledge dirt wheels and *****.
They make all kinds of dirttires for 17" wheels. They even make full on knobbies. I am sure if you are going to do some serious off roading it would be better to get the bigger rims but the 17's with more dirt oriented tires would do great off road.
your setup looks great. i called a power coating place to get my rims black but they said they wouldnt suggest or do it becuase you wouldnt be able to adjust your spokes or anything? not sure what i should do
I got a set of rims only powder coated. I haven't got them mounted yet, I am waiting for new tires to arive. I will see what happens with spoke adjustment, but I don't think it will be a problem since a lot of chopper guys run powder coated rims with chrome spokes. If anyone is interested I will have a set of stock rims(no hubs) for sale. I purchased a set of rims to get coated so I wouldn't have very much down time waiting for them. I will not need the stock rims when I get these mounted. If anyone wants them let me know. Also to get the rims coated it cost $50, I could get them coated for you if you would want. The rims would be $20 a piece.
